Can you sell homes or market real estate listings on Facebook?
This is a question that I get asked all the time.
One person who knows how to sell homes on Facebook is Darin Persinger.
Darin has pioneered a way to create a Fan Page for each listing and then integrate direct mail with social media marketing to sell the home. His strategy focuses around exploiting the viral nature of Facebook and co-opting the neighbors into promoting the property by inviting them to the Facebook Fan Page and encouraging them to “like” the page and leave a comment.
It is all very clever and it has a huge upside as it allows Darin to market himself to the neighbors and ask for their listings.

Thanks for the information. This is a big issue in the apartment industry. Are fan pages just for resident retention or can the generate leads. We need solid strategies for lead generation.

facebook fan pages are more about brand awareness than selling – it can provide a great point to interact with people and get some footing but you will rarely be able to sell on facebook. We’ve tried at calypso bay without any success

yes, it’s possible to sell homes on Facebook – but you have to be a very clever monkey to do it right and not get banned.
